When you said it’s not a road
That you would ever take
How could you know that
It’s not a choice you make
It’s not your voice
The words are raised
Sounds drowning out
You step away
A knock on the door and the phone rings
A sequence that changes everything
You never thought you’d be looking back from here
Draw a line and now it disappears
It’s not your face
Somethings not right
You see it in their eyes they’re turning pale
The recognition fades
I slam doors
And I wait for answers
Refresh the screen
Till I can’t see anything

Lovely album, Fresh have really honed their sound without losing the joy of the early stuff. The album runs to about half an hour, which I also like (cf. It's a shame about Ray). Sam Baguley
