The lights are on
Nobody’s home
I’ll keep knocking on your door
You went walking, looping round
On your own path
You’re on your own
The chemistry, it clouds the mind
It turns the screw, it electrifies
Needles the frequency
That I am so afraid of
It makes you laugh
And it makes me cry
Will I ever get back this time
The heavy air
The bad taste that you can’t take away this time
It’s not a choice you make
On your own
You are the moon
You are the tide
You are the place I go to hide
Producer/songwriter Benjamin Schurr blends the medieval with the industrial in Rush, writing harrowing songs with a mystical aura. Bandcamp New & Notable May 13, 2023
The soaring arcs of post-rock, the punchy rhythms of post-hardcore, and the jagged lines of post-punk all join on the latest from Aversions. Bandcamp New & Notable May 2, 2023
Lovely album, Fresh have really honed their sound without losing the joy of the early stuff. The album runs to about half an hour, which I also like (cf. It's a shame about Ray). Sam Baguley
